Usage notes
[edit]In Finland, presidentti is a lifelong title, while the position of the President of Finland is officially referred to as tasavallan presidentti (“President of the Republic”). That is, there is only one tasavallan presidentti at a time, but all presidents, current and former, are addressed as presidentti.
