- These contour deformities may be a result of trauma, various dermatologic or systemic disorders and previous aesthetic nasal surgeries. More commonly, at the end of the rhinoplasty procedure, when major adjustments of osteo-cartilagenous skeleton have been achieved and the surgeon redrapes the skin envelope, there will be often small remaining irregularities.
