stardock (plural stardocks)

  1. A round dock with secured vessels resembling a star.
    • 2002, Capt. Rick Rhodes, Cruising Guide from Lake Michigan to Kentucky Lake: The Heartland Rivers Route[1]:
      A stardock needs to be reached via dinghy. A typical stardock can hold about 16 boats with all of the boats' bows pointing inward and toward the center. The stardock is moored to the bottom but not attached to the shore.
