Spanish

Verb

véanse

  1. Compound of the third-person plural (ellos, ellas, also used with ustedes?) present subjunctive form of ver, vean and the reflexive pronoun se.
    Véanse páginas 8 y 9.
    See pages 8 and 9.

Usage notes

The plural passive reflexive takes two or more objects. If there is only one object, the singular passive reflexive véase is required.
