Also another plant of the genus Anemone, namely (Anemone quinquefolia), which grows in North America and has pinkish white flowers, is called wood anemone in English. This plant has no Finnish name. Wood anemone is also a parallel name for snowdrop windflower (Anemone sylvestris), in Finnish arovuokko.
