[edit]Learned borrowing from Ancient Greek πάντως (pántōs),[1] an adverbial formation from πᾶς (pâs, “all, whole”).[2]

- in any case, at any rate, anyway
- Synonyms: όπως κα να έχει (ópos ka na échei), εν πάση περιπτώσει (en pási periptósei), σε κάθε περίπτωση (se káthe períptosi), έστι κι αλλιώς (ésti ki alliós)
