  1. eaglet (an eagle chick)
  2. a member of a Soviet pioneer camp Орлёнок (or it's modern equivalent) or a boy who is acting like one
  3. (historical) a teenager who was fighting on the Red side during the Civil War in Russia, Belarussia and Ukraine (1917-24)
  4. (historical) a teenager who took part in the defence of Lemberg fighting on the Polish side during the Polish-Ukrainian War (1918-19)
