Glyph origin[edit]
Attested in the bronze script of the Warring States era. Geng Rong speculates it to be a more complex form of 驫. The character may be alternatively transcribed as ⿸广驫.

Usage notes[edit]
In the regular script, it is only used in the faithful transcription of bronze inscriptions and in the names of the bells where this character was found (𠫑氏鐘, 𠫑羌鐘).
