Etymology[edit]

Learnedly, from Koine Greek ᾰ̓νιδρῡ́ω (set up e.g. a statue).[1] By surface analysis, αν- (an-, again) +‎ ιδρύω (idrýo, found), with the prefix from ανα- (ana-, again).
