From the Analects, Book 15 (《論語·衞靈公》):
- 子曰:「君子矜而不爭,群而不黨。」 [Classical Chinese, trad.]

- Zǐyuē: “Jūnzǐ jīn ér bù zhēng, qún ér bù dǎng.” [Pinyin]
