Stroke order

First of all, I apologize if this is not the place to comment this, but I've seen many Han chars have an animated GIF showing the stroke order and calligraphy of the character, I wonder how and who can do this? I would be glad to make some to contribute. Bye! Petruza 14:28, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Question about animated glyph

The image used in the stroke order diagram has two stokes in a different place to most of the other representations of the glyph on the page. In the lower left section of the static glyphs, there is a character which looks like 'moon' with two horizontal strokes in it. In the animated glyph these strokes are at angles to the horizontal. Is this an accepted variant of the character or an error? My knowledge of Chinese script is not good enough to know. St3f (talk) 12:36, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

Variant form

Currently 尨 has a see also to 龍 and 龙 but neither of them include it at the top or among their variants. 尨 itself lists three completely unrelated pronunciation and senses but none include its use as a variant for 龍. At least in the Guang Yutu maps, though, that's exactly what it's being used for. (See, e.g., 尨泉 on the lower right of this map for 龍泉.) Don't know how common it is, though, so I'm hesitant to add it all in.

It's also theoretically possible that there's another codepoint to involved, since the Guang Yutu form has straight crossbars on the right instead of the curved lines being used here. — LlywelynII 23:02, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
