Falestinian[edit]

Filastinian[edit]

Philistinian[edit]

Alternative spellings / synonyms of Palestinian. Who uses these? Are they general-usage alternative spellings, or restricted to Arab/Muslim use? Are the "people of Canaan" identified in sense 2 of Philistinian the same as the Philistines? - -sche (discuss) 19:40, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All Pass-a-Method junk entries. These should be all rfved, and I'm confident they would all fail, except for Philistinian, which is an adjective referring to Philistines, not a noun referring to Palestinians. Falestinian has exactly one Google Books hit that's not a scanno of Palestinian, and two of the three Google Groups hits refer to the same post that uses the phrase "Falestinian beoble". Filastinian has three cites, of which two are invalid. Chuck Entz (talk) 21:15, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the dubious "Palestinian" sense from "Philistinian". - -sche (discuss) 02:31, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"Falestinian" looks OK now. - -sche (discuss) 02:36, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've RFVed "Filastini" and "Filastinian". - -sche (discuss) 02:39, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
