The syllable is heavy in either case, so it can't be determined the usual way, hence the disagreement. Vox Latina cites Diomedes as evidence that the vowel here is indeed short. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:56, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
