The Serbian Wikipedia for "слепић" (slepić) (which is listed as a synonym for už) lists "ужак" (užak) and "гуж" (guž) as colloquial synonyms. The Russian "уж" (už), an obvious cognate, means "grass snake". --Anatoli ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 02:00, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
