Suoczil

We would like some information about the language Suoczil, please (you entered it in god, for example). Where is it spoken, and what other language(s) is it related to? Ethnologue does not list it. Do you know its language code? Thanks. —Stephen 12:17, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

I have just returned from a trip to my local library, specifically to research this language. It is not mentioned in "Oxford English Dictionary", "Encyclopedia Britannica" or "Languages of the World". There is some evidence from Wikipedia that it may be a Finno-Ugric language. Is that correct? Is it related to any of the following? Finnish, Sami, Mordvin, Mari, Udmurt, Komi, Mansi, Khanty, Hungarian, Nenets, Enets, Nganasan, Selkup or Kamas? In which countries is it spoken? PLEASE reply here. We need a properly attested entry for Suoczil before we can really accept any more entries in the language. Don’t put too much stock in the mention on Wikipedia, SemperBlotto. That was me, and my guess that it might be Fenno-Ugric was based on very little (namely, that the Finnish for "marsh language" would be "suomen kieli", or "suokieli"). There is no mention of Suoczil anywhere on the Internet except for the recent entries here and my question on Wikipedia (which no one has answered). Suoczil seems to be either another constructed language or a local name (i.e., not English) for some language or dialect. —Stephen 08:45, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
