Catalan[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From Latin expōnere, with a change to the first conjugation. The base being changed to expos- seems to have been based on that verb's preterite, exposuī, exposuisse.

Verb[edit]

exposar (first-person singular present exposo, first-person singular preterite exposí, past participle exposat); root stress: (Central, Valencian, Balearic) /ɔ/
