  1. (idiomatic) to be missed, to be needed
    Eu não quero que você vá. Você vai fazer falta.
    I don't want you to leave. You'll be missed.
    Sua ajuda faz falta.
    Your help is needed. - Implying the person who used to help is not helping anymore
