Etymology[edit]
From Ottoman Turkish سرینلك (serinlik, “coolness, coldness”),[1] from Ottoman Turkish سرین (serin, “cool, cold, chilly”), from Proto-Mongolic *serixün (“cool, fresh”),[2][3] morphologically serin + -lik.
