Alternative forms
[edit]- In traditional Chinese (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau) and Japanese kanji, the 乚 stroke in 尤 is further extended to the right to contain 彡 in the top right corner.
- In Korean hanja, the component 彡 is encased between the 一 stroke and 乚 stroke of 尤, which is also the historical form found in the Kangxi dictionary.
- In simplified Chinese, the component 彡 is mostly encased within the 一 stroke and 乚 stroke of 尤, except that the last stroke of 彡 intersects through the 乚. Visually, this form is similar to 龙 with two additional 丿 strokes.
