þykja (weak verb, third-person singular past indicative þótti, supine þótt)

  1. to be regarded, be considered, thought or felt a certain way
    Ávextir þykja hollustufæði.
    Fruit is considered healthy food.
    Mér þykir súkkulaði gott.
    I find chocolate good. (lit. To me chocolate is thought good.)
