ждун (ždunm anim (genitive ждуна́, nominative plural ждуны́, genitive plural ждуно́в, feminine жду́нья)

  1. (colloquial) awaiter, someone who waits
  2. (neologism, politics, derogatory) an enemy sympathizer; a secretly disloyal civilian waiting to be liberated by the other side's armed forces (used in both Russia and Ukraine, and applied to civilians on either side of the Russian-Ukrainian war)
