    Inherited from Old Slovak oblak, oblok, from oblý (round, curved). False cognate of Serbo-Croatian облак / oblak and Slovak oblak (cloud) (i.e. unrelated to Proto-Slavic *obolkъ), but rather cognate with Hungarian ablak, Serbo-Croatian облок / oblok, and Slovak oblok.
