מידה מקראית העשרון נזכר פעמים רבות, למשל: "וְעִשָּׂרֹן סֹלֶת בָּלוּל בְּשֶׁמֶן כָּתִית..." (שמות, כ"ט, מ'). לפי הרב חיים נאה- 2.49 ליטר לפי החזון איש- 4.3 ליטר לפי הרמב״ם- 2.16 ליטר
