بَرِئَ (bariʔa) I (non-past يَبْرَأُ (yabraʔu), verbal noun بَرْء (barʔ) or بُرْء (burʔ) or بَرَاء (barāʔ) or بَرَاءَة (barāʔa))

  1. to be free, to be innocent [with مِن (min) ‘of fault, defect, blame, guilt, a debt, etc.’ and إِلَى (ʔilā) ‘towards someone’]
