      az aqab yak duxtar bēš na-dāšt u šāhnāma ba nazm hamē kardand u hama ummēd-i ō ān būd ki az sila-yi ān kitāb jahāz-i ān duxtar bisāzad.
      He had no children other than a daughter. He was versifying the Book of Kings, and all his hopes were that he could buy the trousseau for that daughter with the prize money from the book.
