Etymology 1[edit]
Inherited from Proto-Turkic *kiāragu (“kind of tool”), from *kiār- (“to mix”), the same root of قارمق (karmak, “to mix, meddle”).
Noun[edit]
قراغی • (karağı)
- poker, stoker, a curved, metal rod used for adjusting the burning logs or coals in a fire
- kind of long pole with a hooked end used to bend branches in order to pick their fruits
