     و إذا كان إيدَك ولّا كُراعَك هي سَبَب خَطيَّتَك، أقطَعا و أرميها مِنَّك. أحسَن ليك تَدخُل الحَياة بِكُراع واحدَه ولّا إيد واحدَه مِن ما يَرموك في النّار الأبَديَّه و عِندَك إيدين ولّا كِرعين.

     wa ʔiza kān ʔīdak walla kurāʕak hiya sabab ḵaṭiyyatak, ʔagṭaʕa wa ʔarmīha minnak. ʔaḥsan lēk tadḴul al-ḥayāt be-kurāʕ wāḥda walla ʔīd wāḥda min mā yarmūk fin-nār alʔabadiyya wa ʕindak ʔīdēn walla kirʕēn.

     And if your hand or your foot is the cause of your sin, cut it off and throw it away from you. It is better for you to enter life with one foot or one hand than to be thrown into eternal fire while having both hands or both feet.
