Passive participle of the verb رَشَّحَ (raššaḥa, to nominate). From the root ر ش ح (r-š-ḥ).

    huwa l-muraššaḥu l-ḵāsiru fī l-intiḵābāti r-riʔāsiyyati l-ʔīrāniyyati.
    He is the losing candidate in the Iranian presidential election.
