معاشرت (mo'âšerat)

  1. social intercourse; companionship
    • c. 1156, Nizāmī Arūzī, چهار مقاله [The Four Discourses]‎[1]:
آل سلجوق همه شعر دوست بودند اما هیچ کس به شعر دوستی‌تر از طغانشاه بن الب ارسلان نبود و محاورت و معاشرت او همه با شعرا بود و ندیمان او همه شعرا بودند.
      āl-i saljūq hama ši'r dōst būdand ammā hēč kas ba ši'r dōstī-tar az tuğānšāh ben-e alb arslān na-būd u muhāwarat u mu'āšarat-i ō hama bā šu'arā būd u nadīmān-i ō hama šu'arā būdand.
The Seljuq dynasty were all lovers of poetry, but nobody loved poetry as much as Tughān Shāh, son of Alp Arslān. All his conversation and intercourse was with poets, and all his boon companions were poets.
