Etymology

Borrowed from Classical Persian مَقْبُولِیَّت (maqbūliyyat), from Arabic مَقْبُولِيَّة (maqbūliyya). Equivalent to مَقْبُول (maqbūl) +‎ ـیَت (-iyat).
