Inherited from Sanskrit *बूस्त (būsta). Cognate with Kachchi બૂથ (būth), Kashmiri بُتھ / बुथ (buth), Punjabi بوتھا / ਬੂਥਾ (būthā), and Saraiki ٻُوتھا (ḇūthā).
