1. to let go

   میرے دوپٹّے نُوں چَھڈّ! ― mere dopṭṭe nūṉ chaḍḍ! ― Let go off my scarf!

2. to leave, quit

   کَمّ نُوں چَھڈّݨا ― kamm nūṉ chaḍḍṇā ― to quit (your) job

3. to give up, leave

   آپݨے آل اَوْلاد نُوں کَدی نا چَھڈِّیں ― āpṇe āl aulād nūṉ kadī nā chaḍḍiīṉ ― Don't ever give up your kids

4. to release, free
5. to drop off
