Cognate with Lithuanian jùnkti (“to learn”), Old Church Slavonic оучити (učiti), Gothic 𐌱𐌹𐌿𐌷𐍄𐍃 (biūhts, “accustomed to”), Old Armenian ուսանիմ (usanim, “to learn”).
