From Old Marathi दांत (dāṃta), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 333: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit दन्त (danta). Cognate with Gujarati દાંત (dā̃t), Hindi दाँत (dā̃t), Punjabi ਦੰਦ (dand), Bengali দাঁত (dãt), Assamese দাঁত (dãt).
