Etymology

From Old Marathi 𑘦𑘠𑘿𑘧𑘹𑘽 (madhyeṃ), 𑘦𑘠𑘹𑘽 (madheṃ), from Sanskrit मध्य (madhya). Compare Bengali মধ্যে (moddhe) and Marathi माज (māj).
