Borrowed from Classical Persian مشغول (mašğūl), from Arabic مَشْغُول (mašḡūl). Compare Sindhi مَشْغوُل / मश्ग़ूल, Gujarati મશગૂલ (maśgūl), Bengali মশগুল (mośgul).
