From Old Marathi 𑘭𑘱𑘽𑘐 (siṃga), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit शृङ्ग (śṛṅga), ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *ḱer- (“horn”). Cognate with Hindi सींग (sīṅg).
