- तत्थ सन्धिं कत्तुकामो पुब्बब्यञ्जनं अधोठितं अस्सरं कत्या सरञ्च उपरि कत्वा सरेन वियोजये।
- Tattha sandhiṃ kattukāmo pubbavyañjanaṃ adhoṭhitaṃ assaraṃ katyā sarañca upari katvā sarena viyojaye.
- One wishing to perform sandhi should make the preceding consonant vowelless and placed before and should make the vowel follow and unlink the vowel there.
