Borrowed from Classical Persian فتح (fath), from Arabic فَتْح (fatḥ). Compare Hindi फ़तह (fatah), Gujarati ફતેહ (phateh), Marathi फत्ते (phatte), Punjabi ਫ਼ਤਿਹ (fatih).
