Cognate with Northern Thai ᨲᩢ᩠ᨷ, Lao ຕັບ (tap), Lü ᦶᦎᧇ (ṫaeb) or ᦎᧇ (ṫab), Tai Nüa ᥖᥙᥴ (táp), Shan တပ်း (táp), Aiton တ︀ပ︀် (tap), Tai Dam ꪔꪚꪾ or ꪔꪾꪚ, Zhuang daep, Saek ตั๊บ.
