Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (pjiʔ⁴ "thick (porridge)". Luce gives Old Chinese 密 (OC *mriɡ, “dense”), Tibetan རྦད་རྦོད (rbad rbod, “thick, dense”) as cognates.[1]”
