Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (mran "fast (quick)"). Luce compares Old Chinese (OC *mrɯʔ, *mrɯŋʔ, “quick, agile, clever”) and Tibetan མྱུར (myur, swift, quick) as cognates;[1] the Chinese comparison seems to hold, particularly when compared with the Baxter-Sagart reconstruction.”
