Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (lɑ̃u²² "burn"). Looks a bit like Old Chinese (*ɡ·raːns, bright, brilliant; rotten), while Luce gives Old Chinese (“fire; to ignite”) as a cognate.[1]
