  1. "I'll take care of it." Set phrase said by cashier while receiving payment from a customer.
    (いち)(まん)(えん)(あず)かり(いた)します
    Ichiman-en o-azukari itashimasu.
    I (humbly) hold on to 10,000 yen now.

  • This term is frequently written in hiragana.
  • This is only used when the speaker is expected to hand out the change. If the payment requires no change at all, the speaker will instead say (ちょう)()(いただ)きます (chōdo itadakimasu, I humbly receive the exact payment).
