  1. slope, incline, hill (path or road on a hill)
    集落(しゅうらく)自体(じたい)(えき)から徒歩(とほ) 20(にじゅう)30(さんじゅう) (ぷん)ほど坂道(さかみち)(のぼ)れば姿(すがた)(あらわ)す。
    Shūraku jitai wa eki kara toho nijū~sanjū pun hodo sakamichi o noboreba sugata o arawasu.
    From the station, if you climb the slope you can make out the village after about 20 or 30 minutes.
