Usage notes

• 承和 (“​Jōwa era”) is preceded by 天長(てんちょう) (tenchō, “Tenchō”) and followed by 嘉祥(かしょう) (kashō, “Kashō”).
• Not to be confused with 貞和, the Jōwa era of 1345–1350, with 正和, the Shōwa era of 1312–1317, or with 昭和, the Shōwa era of 1926–1989.
