[edit]Sino-Korean word from 用紙, from 用 (“to use”) + 紙 (“paper”), an orthographic borrowing from Japanese 用紙 (yōshi).

- Phonetic hangul: [용(ː)지]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
