Gothic[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Borrowed from Ancient Greek แผ˜ฮปฮนฯƒฮฌฮฒฮตฯ„ (Elisรกbet), from Hebrew ืึฑืœึดื™ืฉึถืื‘ึทืข (Elisheba). The final -รพ (instead of -t) is probably due to influence of Latin Elisabeth.
