[edit]Inherited from Bulgar وان (wân, “ten”),[1] itself inherited from Proto-Turkic *ōn (“ten”).[2][3]
Cognate with Khalaj ôn, Turkish on, Uzbek on, Bashkir ун (un) and Yakut уон (uon).
