    Inherited from Prakrit 𑀯𑀢𑁆𑀢𑀸 (vattā), 𑀯𑀝𑁆𑀝𑀸 (vaṭṭā), from Sanskrit वार्त्ता (vārttā). Doublet of વાર્ત્તા (vārttā, story, tale).
